YAHOO ! MY SURGERY DATE IS FEBRUARY 12TH

After 41 years of dieting, 2 years of considering RNY LAP, 6 months of active research, etc. etc., I'm almost there. My husband's company's health insurance chose not to offer Gastric Bypass as a benefit to their employees, soooooo I have had to save up for 6 months to pay for everything myself. When I think of all the $$$ spent over 40 years (I'm now 54), $16,800 is a drop in the bucket. I'm very thankful for the support from this website.

Hey Carolann-You're just one day before me...Mine is 2/13....I'm very happy for you...BUMMER about the insurance front, but at least you were able to still make it happen. Keep that bench warm for me!
