Melissa, Isopure and profect are liquids protien You need to find out very soon what liquid protien your surgeon wants you to drink after surgery. Protien is essential....you will be needing it to heal, and for many other reasons. You better get a hoppin on this girl!

Hi Cissy: 1, My surgery date is February 23. 2. Husband is a good cook. 3. Getting in protein is difficult at first, must concentrate on protein drinks. 4. Yes, planning on Isopure. It really doesn't taste bad, especially when really cold. 5. Yes, I do have a recliner. Best wishes Cissy..........What are your answers to your questions.

LOL Cathy well 1- date is feb5 2- my dear husband cannot cook, I will buy simple things and walk my daughter thru from my comfy chair, while she is in the kitchen at the stove...I'll freeze some spaghetti sauce ahead of time, for while I'm in the hospital, and the other night they can get pizza. 3- Yes, protien drinks too, of course. Doc wants me to have Isopure. But everyone tells me how good "Nectar" whey protien powder is....so I definatley will try some. 4- I'm already on protien powder now, that's the medi fast plan required pre-op 5-Some people say it's great to have a recliner for recuperation period. I don't have one but I want to buy a new one very soon. I saw a real nice brownish -burgundy leather one at Sams club...I just need to borrow a pickup truck. Best wishes to you too God bless Cissy
