Congrats Hot Momma.
You don't want to outshine the bride. Just kidding.
I would love to go to a wedding. ANy excuse to come to NY (except a funeral) would be good right now.
Topic: Hiccups?
Do you guys have real hiccups after eating? I've been having them frequently through the past few days. The only thing I could find online was that they can be caused from the bypassed stomach and it can be bloated. What in the world could it be.
I will be calling the dr tomorrow, but I'm semi concerned. I don't know if I shared but I've had two complication surgeries within two weeks at christmas time so I'm all complicationed out if you know what I mean.
Thanks!
Topic: Okay, so.....
Last night, I went to exchange a bridesmaid dress I will wear for my friend's wedding in October. I was excited that I have a chance to exchange it for a smaller size. So, I got to David's Bridal and handed the lady the dress, a size 16. She took it and did al the stuff in the computer and voila it's fixed. The new dress will be a size 12! Whoo-hoo! Well, does anyone want to guess what happened next? Go 'head. Try. Well, lemme fill ya'll in: I went over to the racks to try on a clearance dress. I'm looking for another dress for a wedding I'm a bridesmaid in in July. So, I try on this gorgeous size 12 dress.....and it's too big! What the....??! HOLY CRAP AND CHEESE!!! So, I inform my friend and the sales lady, and they're like, "What are you doing? Go try on a 10!" I do and (trumpets sound) it fits perfectly! That's without a boustier or corset! I fit into a size 10 dress! I started this journey at a 28-30. I just....can't put it into words right now how I feel. I'm flabbergasted. So, that's my story and I wanted to share it with ya'll.

Topic: RE: When was the last time you measured yourself?
Hi Terri, I've been meaning to measure myself. I was keeping track up to my 1 year surgery date. I need to check what my measurements are now but I feel lazy... all that subtracting.... I'll try tonight, I wanna see how many inches I've lost and I'll post to share with you all.

So good to read that you are back on track Rebecca! WTG
I tend to fall off the wagon a lot but I never give up. I'm always reminding myself that I have this tool and I can do this. I still have a goal to reach and I know can do it and so can you my friend!

I measure all of the time, but my first measurements were a little over a month after surgery because that's when I started with the home version of FitDay.
Start measurements 3/29/06 end measurements 6/21/07 - keep in mind I'm still swollen from surgery and this is with no cardio or weights so my arms and legs have not changed since Januaryish.
Neck: 16.1 to 13.5 -- down 2.6 inches
Bicep: 17.5 to 13 -- down 4.5 inches
Forearm: 11.25 to 9.5 -- down 1.75 inches
Chest [with bra on]: 60 to 38 -- down 22 inches
Waist: 43 to 32 --- down 12 inches
Hips: 62 to 39.5 -- down 22.5 inches
Thigh: 28.5 to 22.5 -- down 6 inches
Calf: 19.5 to 15.5 -- down 4 inches
I look forward to seeing another big difference when I start toning and exercising regularly. xosm
