Yep I have closet overload. I cant figure out what I like in clothes. I used to match all my outfits together and that was the way I wore them. Now I got two closet and two dressers. full of clothes. And I have clothes strung out everywhere. a pile on the dryer and in the chair in our room and some on the top of my dresser. I try clothes on and the dont look good and then change into this and that and then the next week it dont look right so I start over. I find clothes that are a hair too small and pile them in my closet in a box and once a month pull things out and throw out what is too big and hang up what I have lost into... Oh and I got rid of a lot of clothes that later I regretted as I am so cold natured that I need them as jackets but oh well to late so I have been trying to find some more jacket type clothes that match. I bought five dollars worth at a garage sale today... They where only like a quarter a piece and good clothes....

Hi there,
It seems like ages since I've been on this board. I worked 2 jobs for awhile and had very little free time...but I had the stamina to work those jobs and felt good. I have lost a total of 194 pounds now and am in awe....I still have about fifty more to go...but in the scheme of things? I am so happy...and healthy. I saw my primary doc yesterday and he asked me if I was still happy that I had this surgery and I said without a doubt the best thing I have ever done for myself. Then he took six tubes of blood and made me pee in a cup......so much for compassion huh? That's ok I want to make sure I stay healthy.
Has anyone else experienced closet overload? I cannot ever remember having so many clothes. It's wonderful. I've given a lot away and have received a lot more back..some I'm not quite in but I keep cycling them out to my friends at the support group once they become too baggy for me. It's a problem I'm not complaining too much about.....I'm rather enjoying it actually.
Well must go and sleep a bit more before I go hit my exercise class....just thought I would stop by and see what's happening.

Okay so the board is stopping. I think this is normal for a slow board and ours has been a slow board. So let me know who is still out there and what you been up too.
Me, I havent been doing much. I am still trying to lose, but it is so slow. But I havent gained yet so that is good. I am down to 192 lbs. I dont think I lost any this month. But it aint over yet. I am trying to up my exercise I have been walking more, my husband got his viens fixed so he is walking with me. And I am still trying to ride twice a day.
We have painted the house this yr. still working on the foundation, put a new vinyl floor in the dinner room. And am putting a new pourch on the front of the house. Having that hired done. I am going to sign up for classes this fall. only two I think. A good start. I have to go talk to my couselor and see what she thinks. I need something that will move me toward a job of some kind. I have a science and arts degree. But it is a just about useless in the job market here.... Any suggestions are welcome. Well come in and tell us how life is treating you..... hugs to everyone marie

I'm really excited....It seems like I've waiting forever for this day and its approaching fast. But yeah girl, the fat transfer is amazing....you should see some of my doctors patients, they look great. The total cost is $12,700...that includes the surgical fees, anesthesia and the one night stay. I'll be going to a recovery house for a week after my surgery so I won't have to return home so soon. And as soon as I get pictures I'll be sure to show you

That's great news Sylvia! I would do the butt plump too when and if I ever get PS.... How much is Dr. Quiroz charging you for all this work? This is so exciting...pictures, pictures, pictures.
Topic: RE: THE FINAL STAGE OF MY WEIGHTLOSS JOURNEY...........
Thanks....I can't wait! I'm having my PS with Dr. Quiroz at CosMed in Tijuana, Mexico. I'm having a lower body lift, arm lift, breast lift w/implants and fat transfer to my butt to plump it up a little...LOL.

Congrats Sylvia! I, too, am starting to look into PS. Where are you having yours done and what procedures if I may ask? I need my arms done and tummy. Those are the two most pressing to me. Good luck with your surgery and keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Rebecca,
I rarely come to this board and I wanted to say "Hi!"
I understand about these troubles with food. On my good days I eat more lean protein but on my bad days I eat way too many 100cal packs (2-3 pkts) a day, pretzels, crackers. Carbs are not good for me. I weigh myself everyday and I know where my body should be but when it goes over that mark by one pound then that's when I get back on track. Cutting back on my carbs (100cal pkts, pretzels) usually does the trick. I started working out a couple weeks ago so I'm feeling great. I workout 2-3 times a week but eventually want to work my way up to 5 days a week. I'm trying to get my body ready for my plastics on Aug 7th....I can't wait.
Well I hope your doing well. Take care
Sylvia
