Elisa! You're looking great gal! How's your hubby doing? I know just how you feel in that new job. I've disclosed to a few people in my office what has gone on and they can hardly believe it. They understand that I don't eat much and when I go to a lunch out, I usually get a salad and cannot fini**** anyway. But try to get some protein on it and just eat as much as I can and stop. It's nice to be able to stop. Last weekend I went to a buffet with some family and fixed my salad and had a portion of roast beef and one cube of watermelon one cube of cantelope some cooked carrots and my brother was amazed at how much I could eat. I had to explain to him, it's mostly because the salad fruit and veggies turn to water, that portion of meat was about 3 ounces and so it was like a normal meal. I told him, I did really well..some days all I want is a cheese stick. I get in that restaurant for the child buffet. I really don't mind anymore. At first I would just pay full price and then hardly eat but you know....we deserve to not have to do that. They aren't losing money on me by anymeans. Anyway, Good for YOU! I know that it's a new and exciting environment for you! My best wishes for you.

You know...we all have them. I am had a hyster 3 years ago so don't have to deal with the period thing thank goodness. I had polycystic ovarian disease plague me for years! I had enough. Anyway I am dealing with taking my estrogen pills. The doc wants me to take them to prevent bone loss but when I take them I feel so growly that I just want to bite someone. I tried to talk to him about it but he was being impatient that day with me because he's not convinced that I don't need to take my medications after this surgery. Maybe next time I see him, he'll be more patient who knows. I just wonder if with all of this fat flushing through my system if I don't need it. So I know we all understand when you talk about the hormone thing...

don't be jealous...I just got my period and I'm up 2 pounds. So now that's 6 pounds from 100# loss . Hang in there JuLiE!!! Elisa

Hi Sarah! Believe it or not the same thing happened to me today! My boss sent me to Wal-Mart and as I was walking in a teacher I substituted about 1 year (or has it been 2?) walked right past me. I was the same way you were...too shy to just go straight up to them and get their attention. I was just amazed that I could have changed that much in appearance . I kinda wish I had said Hi though. WTG on your WOW moment!! Keep 'em coming... Elisa

Here's the plateau breaker diet: #1 Do for 10 days to break plateau #2 Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day. #4 You may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day: * beef, * pork, * chicken, * turkey, * lamb, * fish, * eggs, * low-fat cheese, * cottage cheese, * plain yogurt (or artificially sweetened), * peanut butter, * beans/legumes. #5 You may also have: * sugar-free popsicles (avoid juice popsicles), * tea or coffee, * sugar-free sodas, * sugar-free Jello, * broths & bouillons, * Crystal Lite drinks. For Vegetables eat from only this list: Broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, spinach, Brussels sprouts, Asparagus & Cabbage For Fruit choose only from this list: Cantaloupe, honey dew, watermelon and strawberries #6 IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU MAY NOT HAVE IT! #7 Keep a food diary and try to get 30 minutes of exercise daily

Topic: It finally happened!
Someone who hasn't seen me since 3 weeks after surgery (who I didn't tell I just had surgery) didn't recognize me! How funny is that? Yesterday a family friend and her two kids who I've known for years walked right past me (a couple of times) in the grocery store and just looked right through me like she didn't even see me. And me, being the person that hates attention that I am , didn't stop her either. I guess I don't want to have to answer all the questions that I know would come. Then I'd hear it from all those people that I didn't tell I had surgery and haven't seen since then... Is that wrong of me? Oh well. Anywayz... just thought I'd add my little WOW moment to the board since today is my 7 month surgiversary.

THANK YOU !!!! Actually I am 35 pounds to goal but 7 ounds to centruy club. but what is a plateau diet?? do tell...... omg my slideshow i have not takn pics in the last 2 months i sux....but tell me about the diet thingy im intrested!!!! J
