Thank you, that's sweet. But I probably do deserve it for some other witchy moment in life [you know what goes around comes around]. I'm just super puzzled about this one, hey, Corinna, can I have your phone number xosm

You are so not a witch. I have emailed you a few times and you have been nothing but sweet. That person seems to have a chip on her shoulder.....glad I wasn't on her email list. Life is too short to spend my time with people like that. Smile Ms Grouchetta you are wonderful Corinna

Topic: this was strange ... WWYD?
So I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I really am a witch. I get an email from someone who's on a bulletin board I frequent entitled "info needed" that says the following; "Hi it's me again. Well I got a new cell phone and lost all my numbers. could u be so kind to send me your contact phone info please." I see it's addressed to several people, and the person did sign their name, but gee, I don't think I've ever conversed with them outside the board, and I sure as heck know this person doesn't even know my NAME let alone my personal info. So I reply, "What info did you need, my phone number????" And get, "yes" Which I still think is odd, so I write, "Why? [I totally don't mean to be rude, but did you have it before?]" And get, "actually i dont want it and if u were not tryin to be rude u would have not said it. it just happens that ur name was in my email list but it will be removed. dont email me again!" SO I'm laughing out loud but I try to clarify, "Why do you think I would just give my phone number out randomly to someone I know from a bulletin board? I don't think it's rude, I think it's prudent. Sorry that you were offended but no skin off my nose. " And get this in return, "@UCK OFF ^&TCH!!!! IT'S NOT LIKE I WANT EVERYONE'S NUMBER AND U ARE RIGHT BUT IT WAS A MISTAKE. SO @UCK OFF AND LEAVE ME THE @UCK ALONE" And this, "HOW ABOUT I PUT MY FOOT UP YOUR A$$ ^%TCH!!!" Now I'm really falling off the chair laughing, what on earth did *I* do?? So I told the person to call me and we'd set up a time for that to happen - perhaps I do deserve it. Is it me, what should I have done? BTW I *did* stop emailing them, but I am still kinda laughing about it;) xosm

Topic: RE: No weight loss
Don't worry if you do hit a stall every now and then. So far I've been very fortunate and my stalls have only been for one week here and there. We have what four of us that started our journeys at approximately the same time with each of us having different amounts to lose. Sometimes that will make a difference in when and how often we may hit these stalls. I truly expected a stall myself since I've closed my pool for the winter and don't have access to a gym yet, but I'm still managing to lose 2-3 lbs each week and hope to join my gym on the 18th. Once I do that I think it will kick up my weight loss again back to an occasional 5 lbs weight loss for a week every now and then. I don't expect that every week or even one week out of the month. Just remember, if you stick to the basics the weight will continue to come off, maybe not as fast, but it will continue. I know we all are human and go off track on occasion, yes we all do even if it's just a bite or two of something we do it. The important thing is that we are on track 90% of the time and that alone will allow the weight loss to continue. I look forward to hearing about all of you overcoming the stalls you have experienced and can only hope you'll be there for me when I hit one where I don't lose anything in a week. I am just happy to be able to get where I am now. I can't remember being able to do as much as I do now and not getting winded any longer. To me even if I don't lose another pound I am successful in becoming a more healthy person. Yes I'd love to be able to say I'm no longer obese and that can happen once I hit approximately 164. That means I only have another 72 lbs to go where I'll be just "overweight". If I ever hit 164 or below it may take additional surgery (lose skin will probably be in the neighborhood of 10-20 lbs). I am just now starting to see this lose skin yes it took losing 123 lbs before I actually can see where I may have problems. I've always been a "solid" person, very muscular and big boned even though I'm only 5'2". I think my surgeons goal of 125 is unobtainable and unrealistic for me, but I will continue to shoot for it or as close to it as I can. Sorry I got off track here. Bottom line, just stay on track and the weight loss will pick up. I've heard where many have hit stalls at the 6 month mark and continue to lose additional amounts of weight during the next 6 months. Keep up the good work. Robin

Thank you Lori! Yes I have lots of before pictures. Everytime my FIL came to visit he'd be snapping pictures of me and my hubby. I hated it but I just took the picture to be nice. So yeah I'll probably find them and be reminded of what I looked like before. I think I might even have some scanned and saved on my computer. Thanks once again Lori! Elisa

That's a big step. It is definitely a very personal decision to make but having the support of your husband would be wonderful . You don't want him to be resentful because you took something that was "dear" to him away. Sorry, I tried to think of a delicate way to put this, but most guys love them. If it were me, I would decide for myself first and then talk with my husband and tell him all of the medical reasons that it would be necessary for me to do this. That's how I approached him with the weight loss surgery and it made him aware of how ill I was. Now if you have already done that and he still doesn't want you to, would he be willing to tell you why? is it the money, the physical difference, what would be his reasons? Would he want you to continue to be in pain? How could he help make a difference in how you feel? Take your time thinking about it. My sister in laws sister had a reduction and I understand it is quite painful. She did not go through the weight loss surgery however. She just had a lot of neck and back problems because she was so top heavy. I understand she is doing a lot better. She also had to cut her hair. Her hair was to her ankles and caused her a lot of neck problems and headaches. I hope in some way I have helped you ...at least gave you some things to think about. take care and take your time.
