Hi Scott, thanks so much for sharing. Your vitamin regimen is almost EXACTLY the same as mine [I don't need the extra Vit D anymore]. I take two multis, 1200 mg of Calcium Citrate, sub-lingual B-12 daily, Biotin daily and Milk Thistle [for my LFTs]. I am surprised it's so similar because of what I thought of DS. I don't get as much fluids as you, though I do try, sometimes 32 ounces go down really easy, sometimes it takes a while, but I get at least 70 ounces a day. I was getting 100+ grams of protein, though with WW I don't count the grams as much, though I know I get at least 46 [protein shake] and then try to eat the high protein route. I think it's neat that although we had different surgeries that our bodies still need the same thing, maybe just in a different way [I can't physically eat enough to make my protein goal without the supplement]. I too, feel like I eat more like a normal woman now and feel like it's possible to live my life this way happily! Again, TFS! xosm

I can usually eat a whole Lean Cuisine, if it's not the sandwich - then I have trouble. For me, it depends on the kind of food and if I am following the pouch rules well that day - if I am not on top of my fluids I am hungry. I don't know what size my pouch is, but I can eat and I pretty much have always been able to eat. Some days I seem to be able to eat more than usual, without any explanation, occasionally [rare, though], I just can't get enough food in. At night food goes in {too} EASY, in the morning NOT AT ALL [I don't eat breakfast and I don't have my protein shake until around 10am, I usually don't get real food in until around 3pm]. I don't eat grapes, so I don't know how many I can eat LOL. I can eat about a cup of strawberries, a carb control yogurt with about 1/2 a cup of peaches mixed in. I can eat a regular serving of meat [3oz], veggies and about 1/2 serving of starch for dinner [I don't eat and drink at the same time]. I can eat a half of a McDonalds salad, depending on what dressing. Hmmm, trying to think of something else to use to compare - I can eat about 6 pieces of su****he one with rice]. I CAN EAT, which is why I took steps to reinforce learning portion control. It surprises me [and makes me slightly envious] when someone only eats 800 calories a day and is satisfied, and on the other hand, I was super envious of Scoot saying he could have 3 eggs for breakfast [I *think* that is what he said, or that's how I remember it;)]. I chose to balance out the envy and remember to change what I can, and be happy with what I have. HTH. xosm

Julie......I had a similar experience. We went to the fair in September. As my boys were waiting in line to get on a ride, I saw a big girl trying to get on the ride next to us. The carny bum guy couldnt close the safety harness bar. He kept trying and finally told her she was too fat, it wouldnt close. She got up and made a bunch of jokes and told her friends she would wait over there for them. My heart was BREAKING for her! She kept her chin up, ut it was so obvious to me that she was so sad inside. Course the jack asses in line were being mean and commenting. This girl was young too, maybe 15 or so. I just felt so sad for her and then I got panicky that I could someday be back in her shoes.

I am doing Weigh****chers, I get between 20-26 points. Before that I was doing FitDay and getting 100+ grams of protein, about 1200 calories - tried to aim for less than a third of that to be from carbs, but it was usually about 1/3. I think I get a lot more carbs now [and less fat], but it's mostly veggies and high fiber carbs. I also get 70oz minimum of fluids daily [I aim for 100 ounces, but well, still working on that!]. i dont count any more....i know i should i just eat what i know is right and dont eat all day long try to eat high protien foods and just do what i am supose to. I work out so i should be eatting or getting in at least 60 but more like 120 so...sorry if that doesnt help! J

I do that too....."am i eating to much???" ok so i did this...the otherday i had a whole heat em up meal (lean cuisene) and i was stuffed. and i thought dang i ate that whole thing. BUT pre surgery i could of eatten 5...no joke. like i can eat (sometimes) a whole kids chicken nugget meal 4 nuggets and fruit cup. and i think wow i ate the whole thing when before i could eat a number 10 supersized with a 6 piecenugget on the side lol....so its all relative....so when you think you ate to much think mack what would i of ate if i had not had the surgery!!!! and you will see your doing fine! REMEMBER...WWIOE? (what whould i of eaten) J
