Topic: RE: Lap Band Weight Loss Totals PLEASE!
Hey Bree,
I didn't have the lap band, but from my understanding weight loss with the band is much slower then with other surgeries. It can take up to 3 years for you to lose to your lowest weight.
I really don't have any advice, except to go speak to your surgeon, perhaps you need more restriction? But even with more restriction, you have no malabsorbtion so you'll need to really watch your sugar and carb intake. Have you tried using fitday.com and log your food? Sometimes it helps to keep a record of what your eating so that you can see where your calories are coming from.

.... but I love garlic "pita" chips.....
I'm glad you do the chart, even when I'm sailing the stormy seas of my weight loss, no gain, loss, gain. Grrrrr.
I think I'm trending down
People at work think I'm looking gaunt, my husband says he's scared of how much I can eat. I'm just happy to not have to worry about the duty rating of things, and to at least "appear" normal.
Is there a mathmatical calculation that facors in the current wind speed and humidity while weighing yourself???
Gosh

If you have not, please send me your weight on Nov 1st for the chart. It is a PITA to add and subtract people, it really makes doing the chart a chore and not fun. Thanks again to those who have participated regularly so far. xosm
Topic: A wow moment!
I went to the bank the other day and as I walked in a man that was at the counter turned and smiled at me. I smiled back. I'm not used to that, usually I would get the horrifying eye pop back the head look. This works for me even though I wouldn't encourage it at all....I just enjoyed the moment.
