I dont know but i do know that stress.....and exstreme stress can make anyones body go through crazieness. You seem to be going through alot of stress...and i am sorry to hear it as well. The best thing for you to do right now in my opion (spelling) is to try to get what you can in if that means going back on Protien shakes so you can get in more then do it. Stress effects everyone differnt. when i am stressed i want to eat when i am happy i dont eat lol (hmm i must of been really unhappy as fat as i was lol) but just try to keep your situation in the back of your mind and try to be there for your brother. Call your Dr too they would know. I will be thinking about you good luck and i will be thinking of your brother too

On Oct 27th I got a call about one of my brothers, he was dying, long story short is he pulled through (thank GOD) and I just got home today, I have been out of town at the hospital for 12 days, until today and will go back tomorrow
My question is this, I am not eating like I should or drinking like I should while there, because of the stress, and financial issues. I try to get in my protein and I try to remember my vitamins, but ran out, so I came home for a day to stock up my vitamins, and kind of recharge my batteries, but when I went to eat the wonderful dinner my husband made us, I found I could barley eat much at all.
Same thing when I drink, I can't drink a lot at once, not like two weeks ago.
Can our pouches shrink?
I served myself a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, and a ham slice, ate the cottage cheese and was so full I thought I'd get sick, no way could I eat the ham slice, and two weeks ago it would have been no problem to eat more than that.
Anyone know the stats on this?

Hi Vanessa, I live right on the CT/MA line. In north central CT.
Yeah I love food, thats MY problem. But I guess thats why we are all here huh?
I had phneumonia (sp?) and had to stop going to the gym, and I couldnt breath when NOT excersizing. So we will see how that goes. I am sitll coughing a bit, but not too bad.
I hope that "starts" me up again.
Please keep writing, I'd love to keep in touch.

I am having the same issues. I was at 244 at surgery, now I am hovering around 200/201. I go up and down the same 3 pounds for weeks. I'll admit though, I haven't been eating all that great. I have been snacking, so I know I need to stop that. I have started to exercise more and I see feel better. Where in CT are you? I work in Middletown but live in Colchester.

I've tried it and it was decent. Kind of taste like Isopure but without the bad after taste. I wi**** had a little more protein in it.

So I found it at Publix. It comes in Lemon and kiwi strawberry I got the lemon. NOW as all "good for you" foods it was 6 bucks for 4. But it was not bad. Kinda tasted like the disani lemon water. Sweet but only 8 grams of sugar. At first i thought it was TOOOOO SWEET then it was ok. 5 grams of protien too. I think its cool but a lol expensive. did you see the special K diet? i was thinking about doing it. I dunno i like special K so maybe its way easy. check it out online. anyway my opion o the special K 2 O (thats what it is called) was good.... water AND protien??? what an idea!

Thanks...you know...it could be scar tissue from my hysterectomy...I have that belly smile there, I've just never been able to see it before if you know what I mean...it was really tucked under that belly of mine. I'll try some lotion and see if that helps...thanks for the idea.

Hi Scott, thanks for the reply.
I have an appt with my nutrtionist on the Mon the 13th. I will ask her to help me out a bit.
You would think with a 5cc band being filled to 4cc's I would feel more restriction than i am now.
I have also had opinions from other bandsters that I should have an x-ray to make sure everything looks like its in the right spot, and I have eat more portion-wise than other people I've talked to as well.
will see what surg/nut say.
