Topic: Hey Everyone, Guess What??!!
I'm still losing...down to 164.4 almost into the 150s... yay!
I had gained about 4#s during the thanksgiving week but then I went back to normal (168) and now I've lost. Weird...
So, how about you all? Can you believe year 2 is coming up?

Topic: I'm Back
Hi everyone, I haven't been getting on because my wife and I have relocated from Yuma, Arizona to Panama City, Florida to be closer to our grand children. I am doing great my weight is still bouncing between 180 pounds and 190 pounds. I am still attempting to reach my goal weight of 175 pounds. I have reached my personal goal of 195 pounds, but my doctor suggested that I move my goal to 175 pounds. So I decided to keep trying. Anyway, I just wanted to touch base with everyone. I have found this website to be a great help and recommend to anyone who had any type of weight loss surgery or is considering having it done. God bless everyone and may you all have a very Merry Christmas and an even greater New Year!
Topic: RE: Plastic Surgery Information
For me the pain and recovery from the tt has been much worse than when I had the rny. I still have some issues. The first few weks with the drains were not fun and after my infection and having to get re opened and drainded was the pits. On the plus side I did drop 3 pants sizes. best of luck. Doug.

Well.......since getting my drains out I have swollen HORRIBLY!!!! My doc told me it could happen, of course it happened to me! I am still wearing my binder (I cut it in half since the lower portion is where the swelling is). I have been back twice to have fluid removed (60ccs the first week, and 100ccs the second week after drains removed). I think I will have to make another appointment to get more removed. I have to elevate my feet when Im not working to help ease the swelling. I tried ONE day with no binder, and I was like a big fat swollen tick! I know swelling is common (if you go to the plastics board MANY are suffering SWELL HELL).
So thats where I am now. I am almost 6 weeks post op, and have been told the swelling can last for months! Ughh....... I still dont regret the surgery, but I wish I was one of the lucky ones who had no swelling. My upper belly looks fabulous, and its so nice not to have the muffin top hanging over, I just want the flat, tight belly I had at 2 weeks post op! My doc assures me it will come back, and I do have better days where I see less swelling.......it just seems to keep coming back!
Good luck Stacy......
Topic: RE: need clothing
You've done wonderfully! I've had very good luck at GoodWill and second hand clothing places with clothes. They are actually cheaper then paying shipping for someone to send you clothes AND you get to try them on first and see them before you pay for them.
Topic: RE: Any of you guys going on the January cruise?
hey, Terri!
How have you been? Can you add me on to view your profile? One of my friends just had surgery and I wanted to show her your pics. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Topic: Plastic Surgery Information
Hi, I am Stacy and I am a part of your "group" I guess since I had Open RNY in Feb 2006. I have done well after beginning complications and I have been at goal for a while. Now on Dec 13 I am having plastic Surgery. I am having a breast lift and tummy tuck. I am here today asking for information from others who have had the same thing done. Either both or just one of them. I am very nervous, I wasn't nervous about my WLS but this I am. I am not a baby and have a high tolerance for pain, but I just want to know how others were with the pain and the recovery. Anywhere from when you were able to have sex again, when could you drive, when were you able to walk straight up, lifting issues, just so many things I can't think if them all right now. The Dr can tell me what he thinks but I want to know from real people who went through it. I also want to know anything bad you experienced, I like to know it all. Thanks in advance for any information or advice. Best of luck to all wherever you are in your journey. Happy Thanksgiving as well.

Well like I said in your 4 day pic post - you are looking great. I am scheduled for surgery on Dec 13, tummy tuck and breast lift, can you tell me more about the recovery, I am very interested in hearing about it. Thanks for any comments you can give on this matter. I am trying to get as much information as possible on the recovery.
thanks in advance

Well it doesn't look to bad to me and holy hell a 6/8 pre-tummy tuck that is great. I don't post much on here, but I had WLS Feb 2006 and I have lost 120 lbs and I will be having a tt and breast lift on Dec 13. I am more scared of this than I ever was of the WLS but I do feel like going through with this puts an "end" to the journey I started almost 2 years ago. It is like I am finishing what I started. I am excited just scared of the unknown. I hope I look as great as you at 4 days out!
