Okay-Dumb Question Ahead..... You know how pre-op when we dieted for a while and then we would "fall off the wagon" and it was like our stomachs shrunk a bit because we would get full faster than before? Do you ladies think that it's the same post-op? Let's say I've eaten more than usual for a few days, then not much at all...can I "shrink" my new pouch back up again just like the old stomach? Told ya it was a goofy question...LOL

I don't think that a couple of days of eating more will have an impact on your pouch. From what I have heard most people who gain weight back after surgery have more of an issue with the opening of the stomach where it gets larger and it allows food to go thru faster. I was told though by my surgeon that things like soda and caffeine can cause damage to your pouch making it less "productive." I really think that just a few days of "overeating" won't have a major impact. But what it does do is have an impact on your head and the new healthy habits that you need to maintain. Get back on the wagon and don't let those bad habits come back !!
