Question for the ladies??
Ok I had my surgery on Feb. 23rd. Any of you ladies noctice a change in your menstrual cycle since surgery?
With me I got it twice in March, nothing in April, and I just got it today. I know its probably from my body being in shock, and my change of eating habits.
Just wondering if any of you fine ladies are experiencing this....thanks!!
Hey,
I used to have to take Provera to start me up. I had my RNY on 2-27-6 and started when I woke up from surgery. I have since gone every other month, without having to take pills. When I was on the pills the OBGYN said as long as I go every other month, I'd be fine, but if it was longer than that, to come in and get more pills.
Dunno if that helps...
Gosh
Hey Go****his is my first time posting to this board. I will intro myself in a few minutes.....but I wanted to talk to you about htis, since I am going through the same thing!
I have only had one or 2 cycles in my life, on my own. I have always had to take Provera....hated it!
I have been cramping a LOT, but still no period.
I am really hoping that as I loose more weight that I will be able to have a regular period without any meds!
Thanks,
Sandra
Hi there
I have not gotten mine at all! I am starting to get worried! NO I AM NOT PREGNANT!! I know that it is important to have a monthly cycle! They dont want to put me on birth control they want to see what happens when I lose the weight! I have lost 49lbs but I think they want me to lose more!! Do you guys think I should call my doctor anyway or just wait it out?
I hope everyone is well except the TOM thingymajig
Stephanie
Yup! I had surgery Feb. 13th and I was supposed to have it during that week of my surgery and I was really nervous about that and to my surprise I got nothing!
It didn't come until the first days of March and ever since then my cycle has changed. Also it seems like it starts the last FRIDAY of the month(--which is not cool!) and last for fewer days than before (pre-op).
