Hi there! I was wondering if you could tell me whether or not a "stall" for two ENTIRE weeks with only 1 pound lost in that time is "normal" or not. Since surgery on March 16th i've lost 38 pounds but the last two weeks only 1 pound? I cant even believe it although my clothes do fit so much loser. Help me, i'm confused! My doctor said "it's fine, it's fine" but is it really FINE? Am I freaking out for nothing? I'm doing everything right too!!

It's Fine!!! It's perfectly normal and it's only the first of quite a few so RELAX!!! Step away from the scale; don't get on it again until Monday. I forbid you!!! Take your measurements and compare them to before surgery. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised and if you didn't take them before surgery, take them now so you can help yourself later. This is where your patterns begin so make note of it...how much you lost and how long your plateau is.... as this may become a recurring pattern and will help you mentally to know that for next time. It will break. If you are depressed, put on something you wore before surgery and look how far you've come!!! Looking forward to your post on Monday.... J.

Jackie, You are so sweet!! I dont have a scale so dont you worry, I wont be weighing myself. =) I refuse to buy one for the reason that I would be weighing myself daily and I know how that would be! I was just so sure I had lost weight and when the scale said 1 pound lost I was like OH NO! Ok, I did read some past posts on this exact topic and I feel completely fine now. No worry's. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love reading the Feb board because it gives me an idea of what to look forward too. All you gals are so nice! Trish
