My goal for this week...
Hey all... I hope that your Easter weekend was wonderful. Mine certainly was ! So it is Monday- that means the day to pick your goal for this coming week.
Last week my goal was to improve my protein intake consistently. LOL... It didn't happen so that is my goal again for this week. Not gonna give up til I get there... I didn't even average 40 grams last week so this week I am gonna aim for 50 grams daily. I have been going thru some days where I just don't want to eat and with all the Easter stuff around the house, I was kinda really good yet really bad at the same time. (No chocolate, a few jelly beans but I was picking on "good foods" all day long !)
How did you all do on your goals from last week and what is the new goal ? Let us know, good luck and have a wonderful day
Ohhhhh ick... I know that after having been on a liquid diet for 10 days prior to surgery and then for a few afterward I was so sick and tired of things without "substance" that I spent some tearful times begging for something real. Good luck with getting that procedure done ! Let us know how you make out...

I really need to work on a few things, but don't want to get so many I stress and don't do any of them. I think that has been my problem.
I definitely need to work on my protein. I hate the taste of the drinks, I have tried several and they all taste horrid after a while.
Also, I need to get my H2O intake back up. I have not been as diligent about that as I should be.
Exercise!! I have been doing it, but I need to take it to the next
level.
Okay, that's enough for this week.

My goal this week is to keep my protein up, and to make sure I take ALL of my supplements, and dont forget my B-12 (like I sometimes do cuz I dont take it every day). And to make sure I get in at least 64oz of water EVERY DAY. Regarding protein, I've been drinking two Nectar Lemon Tea's a day, it's only 90 calories, 23 g protein, and it really does taste just like iced tea. Just a thought, I can't deal with the thick shake tasting ones, even though some of those have more protein.
