Hi all, Just wondering if any of you have dumped yet? I was gonna wait til june or july and try something like a hershey kiss or anything that would make dump just to see if I did. I found out much sooner though lol. I decided to try one of those Lunchables that has Turkey, cheese and crackers, and a little Butterfinger bar lol. It has 9 grams of fat, 22 grams of carbs, and 7 grams of sugar but I was assuming that was the butterfinger too. I didn't even eat enough to fill me up and I started having all the symptoms, Cramping-diarhea-sweating and it lasted for about 45 mins. I'm really glad though, since I now know that I can dump it will sure keep me in line. Your fellow Feb surgery date member, and only male on this board

Yep, I dumped twice. Once when I ate a salad before I was apparently ready, and another time when I asked for a low sugar frozen coffe drink and the idiot 18 year old behind the count said he had just the thing for me. It wasn't low sugar, it was low carb. I dumped both times at home luckily.

Nope. I haven't tried any concentrated sugar [never a big sweet eater to begin with], but have had things like regular ketchup without incident. I also had a fat free pudding once, instead of SUGAR free, without a problem. I've had high fat a couple of times too, just this week I had some of DD's chicken Mc Nuggets and a bite of fries, regular mayo tuna salad and stuff like that. I'm happy so far, I don't feel like I need [more] negative reinforcement [I do have pain if I don't chew enough, or eat too fast, and once I threw up from eating leftover fish] to make the right choices, I'm finding that making the right choices makes me feel GOOD and that works better for me. I hope I turn out to be one of those people who at a year out can have a bit of anything they want, in moderation xosm

I had dumping preop so i'm firmilar with it. I have had 1 episdoe post op - it was with a tiny bowl of life cereal. It just jected right out. Having it preop dumping I was well aware of post op dumping, it is definitly tied to spicy, hot, greasy, high fat and some sugars for me. I can eat 1 treat of a peanut butter up but don't eat anymore and i'm ok. Starches and carbs make me fee like vomiting, so it's good beause those were my weakness foods. I do miss my food though. Nope to scared to try. I dont want that feeling if I can keep from it. I TRY to avoid all sugars...if it is not sugar free I refuse to eat it..
