Go back to liquids for a day or so. small sips I got sick once and did fine but I couldnt eat for a couple of days. You might have a piece of meat stuck, I have heard of that on the main board. They say to drink some meat tenderlizer. I would ask on the main board about that as I have not experienced it. I hope everything goes fine. If it doesnt get better in a day or so you had better go to an ER. perferable one that is affliated with a bariatric surgeon. love marie

Hey Julie I hope you feel better soon! I have no idea what could be wrong? Have you had the dinty moore stew before without problems? Rest and definitely call your doctor tomorrow and let us know what's up with that. OK? Elisa

I was at the Dr. on Friday and they said that DEFINETLY sometimes things will agree with our pouches and just a few days later if may not... Give yourself some time to get over the "upheaval!" Maybe try an icepop and keep your fluids up. Hoping that you are feeling better this am !

Julie I don't have anything new to add to what the others are saying, but agree to just try liquids for a day - little sips. Call your doctor's office or service and talk with a nurse if your doctor is not available. You will be in our thoughts!! Julie B

Make sure you talk to your doc. I did that for 3 days and then they finally scoped me and I have a pinpoint stricture! Don't let it go too long...

Julie: I was reading old post and came across your I have to say I don't think you should ever eat Dinty Moore stew It has to much fat in it. And that might be the reason you got sick. Also You dumped. I know you felt sick and you were scared but you just need to read and learn what you are doing to your new pouch. The more you learn the more you will understand your new pouch. And when you do something wrong you will not need to go to the doctor. You will just have to lay down and wait until it eather go's away or you get sick. But don't make it a habit of threwing up. You don't want to change one old habit( over eatting) for a new one ( threwing up). I kkep up the good work I know you will do good. Sharon

thank you so much for your post and as i do not wont to come across like "i know what i am doing" But my dr told me not to watch my fat. and i get no more that 30 grams a fat aday anyway,(thank you fitday) but to watch my carbs and i asked him about this food prior to eating it. I also had my surgery in Coasta Rica so even though i cannot see my dr or go to him on a reg basis i have constant contact with him via email and phone i speak or email him once a week. I did not eat the entire thing only 3 bites (not that i have to explain) and i did not dump. I got food suck in my pouch and i did not chose to through up was not something i would chose to do. I will admit (not that i have to) that i do not chew my food very well it is an issue i feel i need to work on. I am aware it may come across as i am irritated although i am not. I just want you to know i am not some un edjucated fool who eats chicken mcnuggets at 3 weeks out like i have heard some do. all drs are differant and all people are differant i am VERY strict on what i eat and most people who see my post know how i am. I compleately understand my new pouch is new and i realize it is all about learning by trying new things. Thank you for your comments although i am not as dumb as it may seem i was. Sorry if this came across rude that is the last thing i want to do but i am a little passionate when it comes to my weightloss. I have researched and do EVERYTHING i am supose to do. so need less to say i felt i needed to explain. Good luck with your weight loss. J 271/227/143

Hey J, Some people on the main board also talk about a papaya enzyme, to help break down something that's stuck, other than the water and meat tenderizer. I get tired just listening to all the exercise you do. I'm waiting for my doc to get back in the office, and see the results of my upper GI. It says I have a "slight" narrowing of my anastomosis (opening between ouchie pouchie and intestines). I'm hoping he reccomends it be opened as I'm tired of liquids and purees. I see that you started at about the same weight as me. How tall are you? I think it's neat to see someone at about the same height and weight as me move along in the process. I'm 5'6" (if I stand up straight) and had my lap RNY at 272 lbs. Lifetime high was 285, but I don't count that for this. I last weighed myself at the doc's office on Monday at 236, so I'm down 36 lbs. Here's hoping I'll see 150 some day. Gosh
