WOKE UP SICK :(

I woke up feeling not so good today. I have a real bad soar throat I just feel drained, and very tired. Has anyone gotten strep throat since WLS? I had my surgery 2-22-06. If I go to my family dr I would like to know what I can and cant take for medication. Last time I had strep throat he gave me a hard pill as an antibiotic but I dont think I could absorb that pill now. Does anyone know how to get some energy, im struggling at work here. I have already had a protein drink 50g protein, and a breakfast bar for breakfast 16g protein.

I had strep on week 3 thank you my 2 year old son. I went to my PCP he gave me some oral antibiotic. YUCK YUCK YUCK... and didn't work. I'm allergic to Penicillin so he couldn't give me a shot. After 3 more days I went back because I still didn't feel good. Then he gave me a Tylenol with codeine and some more antibiotics... that did the trick. I still had some of the loritab from the first days back from the hospital and I took some at night to sleep. That helped a lot too. I haven't been sick since. laura 280/237/165

thanks for your help. do you remember what type of antibiotic you had the second time. i still have loritab as well.
