Hi Everyone, I just found this board. I have lots of questions. I just had surgery on 2/20. I am feeling like maybe Ihave stretched my stomach already? I feel I can eat a lot of food in just 6 weeks. I have lost 29 llbs so far at my last appointment. I have cheated and weighed myself and havent lost anymore. I have an appt. on Friday for my next phase. I have had real addictions with food and I feel I have been doing really good. I havent had anything with sugar or bread. However, I can eat 1/2 baked potato and 3 ounces of chicken, and am wondering if that is too much food. I am so scared of failing at this. Denise in VA

Thanks for your reply How do you not weigh yourself all the time. My nurse said to wait until my visits and she will weigh me, but I find myself cheating and weighing myself everyday. Its very nerve wrecking. I think I am going to put my scale in my car lol, to remove the temptation. Denise

Welcome to the board! I think we all have a fear of failing at this. We have failed at so many diets, I think we have programmed ourselves to feel as though we will always fail at everything regarding our weight. I would say talk to your doctor and see what he says. You may be just fine and are just worrying. Hugs, Deanna

I have to say that I am a worrier too......That is why when I gave someone all my 24/26 SHIRTS, AND 22 and 20 jeans, I kept some of them! Is anyone else keeping some of ur bigger clothes for "just in case the weight loss stops?" am I nuts? Peggy

Denise you are doing fine. Think positive that you are not constantly sick and can't keep things down!! Alot of us found weeks 4-7 that we stalled. I stalled for 2 weeks and then woke up one morning and 5 lbs. were missing!! I like that kinda night!!! I just need 28 more nights like that!!! That shouldn't be that hard!! I wish I could eat chicken but like a lot of weight loss patients I can't eat white meat so feel very lucky. It is very hard for me to get my protein in if it is not in liquid form!! We all are scared but, you have everyone here to rely on!!Hugs and Kisses, Sandy
