??? About Susan Marie's Bariatric Site fight with OH

I usually read both boards daily for advice and information. On there, some people from obesity help and her site were arguing back and forth. It was horrible. I guess she does rants daily and complained about obesity help and others complained too. I don't know why people are being negative at all. We all need to stay positive. I have never experienced anything but positivity from this site. I can say I use to post all the time on that site but, now I only post here because if you post there, you have to scroll through to find your post and find the response. I like how you get emails here with the response. I check them with my cell phone while at work. I do like reading everyone's posts but, I like how I keep in close contact with the people from February that I had surgery. I feel like I get more pertinent information at this time from those that are going through the same thing at the same time. I want to say that I have never emailed someone from this site and didn't receive a response. I really like talking with all of you. It makes me feel so much better about things. I am so glad to be here and I still will continue getting information from whatever site I see to keep us informed. There are good people on that site too, but the people I have connected the most with are from here. Hugs and Kisses, Sandy

Personally, I couldn't really bother with all that petty crap. In fact, unless I'm in the mood for drama of some kind, I stay away from the main boards. I like this community atmosphere here on Feb 06 the best, I feel like we really will get to know each other and that I don't have to post every few hours just to keep up. I also go to my regional board, because I'm comfortable there too. My actual expierences with different OH members have all been positive, when I asked for support, I got a ton of it. I'm guessing we'll have drama too after the honeymoon period, but at least it's a core of 30 members or so, and not the crazy numbers who post on main. So, yeah, what Sandy said! xosm
