I think it's natural to feel more hungry after you are working out more. Your metabolism is probably increasing due to the workouts (especially the weight training!) so that could result in increased hunger.
I too, have moments where I fear my pouch is "broken" or that I'm able to eat too much. It usually only happens with mushy foods (like pudding). Once I try to eat something dense, like chicken or meat, I quickly realize that no, my pouch is not broken, because I can barely eat more than a few bites!
Although it's easier said than done, I would try not to feel guilty about eating, especially if you KNOW you are making the correct and healthy choice for you and your body. I try to think of food as fuel now, and nothing more. Before I looked to food for comfort, entertainment, etc. Now I just eat because I know I need the calories for energy and nourishment.
Good luck with your new workout routine!
Thank you allison,
I am freaking out over nothing i am sure. I am a worry wart. I just want to make sure i am doing what i am supose to do. I follow the rules and cheat (so to speak) very rarely. I understand this surgery is just a "tool" not a quick fix. I just dont want to be one of the ones who gain the weight back. I have seen so many of my friends gain it back and that scares me. I wanna be a success story. Thanks again
