Hey all, Here is a recipe that I used to use when I was on the South Beach Diet. It is so yummy and high protein. Each serving is 28g. I add peanut butter as a spread under sugar free syrup - so it bumps it up a couple of g's. However, I must confess that I was only able to eat about 10g of it, but every bite was delicious!! Oatmeal Pancake 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese 4 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add the batter (1/2 at a time) and cook over medium heat until both sides are lightly browned. Top with low-sugar toppings of your choice. Serves 1 288 calories 28 g protein 32 carbohydrates 4 g fat 1 g saturated fat 451 mg sodium 5 mg cholesterol 5 g fiber

It's not really cooking - chuck it all in a blender, push the button - pour half of it on a hot sprayed griddle and flop it over once!! Or --- Get someone else to do it! *s* Julie B

I'll take "or" for $200 Alex ... LOL I just shared the recipe with my Brooklyn Mommies board, they are so thankful to have another idea on how to get protein in their kids. So I wanted to pass on the KUDOS from them. xosm
