how many calories

Julie, you know as well as i do that it is hard to stay positive when you see others losing more than you but i took up swimming and i try to think of it this way, if i lose slow I may not have as much skin to deal with in the end. I've heard the more you have to lose the faster it will fall off, well i have about 150 pounds to lose you would think it would be melting away. ok that was what i was thinking. lol lets keep our heads up and we will be fine. june

June, So far I haven't been released to work out. I can walk, I just haven't been released to go to the gym yet. Can't wait 'til I can!!! There are several gyms in the area that are having specials, probably due to tax season. Anyhoo, I love fitday.com and have been doing that every day. I am excited to use it because to me it's a new life and a new way of doing things. I always (and I mean always) measure my food now. I'm not obsessive, but I think it's fun! Fitday says that I am getting between 400 and 750 calories a day. My weight loss is 29 pounds in 4 weeks (2-22-06) and I am proud of that! June, 25 pounds in 4 weeks is GREAT! You are doing a great job! For starters, you had the surgery. And you're exercising! What a great start to the rest of your life! Congrats! Have a great day! Jen Halliday
