Deanna (love your name btw), thank you so much. I feel great especially with all the support I get from my husband, family, a couple of my friends and of course all the lovely people here on OH. You all make me feel so good and encourage me every time I post. I really appreciate it. Yes!! take those monthly pictures. I was looking over at mine last night and hey I CAN tell a difference!! I have less fat around my tummy, arms, and face. Congrats on your 4 weeks!! You are doing super as well!! Elisa

Hi Elisa! Congrats on making it to your one month anniversary. I am right behind you. I had surgery on February 17 and have lost a total of 16 pounds thus far since surgery plus 14 pre-op for a grand total of 30 lbs. I am so excited! We are all doing so well. And yes, even though I, too, get frustrated sometimes not being able to eat foods like I used to, I know that the reward will come in the end. Congratulations to us all! Loretta

Loretta 30 FREAKIN' pounds gone forever is AMAZING!!!! Congrats girl, keep up the great work! Yup, you hang in there because you know that by the time those summer months roll around you are going to be bathing suit (or bikini, whichever you prefer) ready!! Isn't it great? Elisa

Elisa, Great job!! I'm 2 weeks out and doing well too. I can really relate to the getting bored though or just basically tired of not eating. My significant other is taking weekly pictures and when I'm done is going to put them into a program that will do kind of a morph thing - at least that is the plan. Let's keep it up February people!! Julie you keep on keepin'!! This does get easier as the weeks go by. I was just commenting to my husband this morning that the first month is rough but once you get passed it everything gets easier. You can tolerate seeing others grub the stuff we used to have and we become accustomed to eating our small portions. You keep taking those pictures...because that will be the only way you are going to remember what you USED to look like and see how far you've come. Elisa

Julie, awww thanks so much!! I am proud of you and all of us here too! Aren't we great? You are so right about not knowing until it's done. The research helps but you just can't even begin to know how it really is until you are on the losing side. When I took my pictures and I saw them I didn't think there was much of a difference but when I compared them to the ones I took in January I saw a difference. My double chin is slowly disappearing and the bulges around my tummy are getting smaller!! Thanks again Julie-your great! Elisa
