Lemme just say, congratulations to us all! We deserve a standing ovation! *stands and * I am 3 weeks out this Wednesday the 15th. I, too, have felt very little in my pouch....well, as far as feeling that maybe the surgeon didn't really do a surgery at all. Maybe it's like those "dummy pills" or placebos: He just did a fake "surgery" to see if I would lose weight! How sad is it that I thought that? Oh well. I know that he did do a surgery when I feel full. So far, I have only felt uncomfortably full once, and that was with my protein shake. Whew, it's good, but oh so filling! I started my journey at 332, weighed 321 the morning of surgery, and I weigh 295 now. So, an overall loss of 37 pounds, but the doctor will tell you that my loss is 26 pounds. Gotta tell 'ya, ANY loss right now is good! Again, congratulations to all of you that lost. We are losers and that makes us all winners!!! God bless and here's to feeling better each day! I am now 4 weeks out and it has been a ride lemme tell ya! I weighed in at 341 and at my 2 week I weighed 295.5. for a while the pounds were just melting off me and then it stopped! I am stuck I think my body went into shock or somthing who knows. I have not been good at getting my protein in so maybe this is the reason I am trying to do better eveyday is a new day! Congrats to all of us losers! Amie Lewis

Well today is my three week anniversary. I have been pretty lucky that the only thing that has really "made me feel my pouch" has been the couple of times when I ate tooooo fast. I have been trying out different kinds of food since my Dr. gave me the go ahead last week. Canned chili has been a wonderful discovery ! My Dr. is a strong believer of the 10 liquid diet prior to surgery and since the first day of that I have lost 23 pounds. I have lost more than 3 inches off my waist alone and actually had to go out and buy a belt to help keep my jeans up ! I have alot more energy than I ever thought possible and can loudly and proudly announce that I have not had to shoot insulin or take any oral medications for my diabetes since I came home from the hospital. (Those dang IV's with sugar in em.... ick !) Congrats to us all... We are finally losers and this time around it is a good kinda loser !!!!!
