10 days out what are you guys eating(drinking)?
My lap RNY was 2/8, so its been 13 days of liquids. I have protein shakes when I can stand to, broth, cup-a-soup (yum), jello which I firm up with 2 additional packets of Knox, cut into dice-sized cubes and snack on, s/f pudding, popsicles, Propel water + calcium when I need to rehydrate from diarrhea (often), liquid vitamins (switching to chewables ASAP!), calcium + some iron. Zantac syrup + sometimes pain med. Today I tried a single sardine canned in water for lunch and so far, so good. Having some new pain behind my naval the last two days so I'm laying low which feels like a set-back, but I'm optimistic its normal.

My surgery was also February 08 but was OPEN RYY. Sick of liquids !!! I was taking liquid GNC Multivitamin but it really made me sick so I switched to chewable Centrum. They're okay but certainly not cherry, as they claim ! I can't have pureed until March 01 and then I can add cottage cheese, mashed potatoe, fish, etc. I"m so afraid to put real food in my mouth but at the same time, am anxious to chew !! I'm having a carb conscious Carnation Instant Breakfast protein powder drink right now, chocolate. I just finished a wonderful juice drink I made. 1/2 cantelope and about 8 strawberries, all put through the juicer over ice, very yummy. Hope you're feeling better from the sardine ! What state are you in by the way ? I'm in NH and had my surgery at Dartmouth hospital by Dr. Paul Kispert, he was wonderful. I'm down 37.2 pounds so far ! Ava
