2 days out
Well I'm 2 days post op (came home yesterday) and not doin too bad. Only taking pain meds when I NEED them and haven't been sick yet either. Getting used to all the new feelings down at my stomach. Feels kind of strange. Sick of broth and water already lol. Will go get some of the other stuff I am allowed to eat later today.
Surgery went well. I was never really nervous which I found odd because it was my first ever surgery. I remember telling them I was having problems breathing and then next thing I know they were waking me up lol. They got me up out of bed as soon as my eyes were open and made me go do a barium swallow. They laughed as I walked like a drunk person still high off the drugs and blind because I didn't have my glasses on.
Glad to report very little pain at all. Even happier to report 35 lbs gone before the surgery. :D
