2 days to go!!!!!!!!!
I'm just now starting to get nervous. Getting to this date has been such a long and sometimes uphill battle, I'm afraid that it's not going to happen, even being this close. I'll feel better Friday morning when I'm getting prepped for the surgery to take place.
Good luck to all those with dates and/or surgeries this month.

Hi Roni!
I know what you are going through. My date is the same as yours. I have to be at the hospital at 530 am. I am excited, nervous, and everything else. I am just praying that God gives us peace and comforts us during this exciting time. Anyway, Just hang in there. We are almost there.
God Bless,
Tamara
Good luck with your surgery... I am Friday as well. I have my bag packed and am ready to go!
I am very calm today. I think I am just ready and tired of worrying and being nervous. I am so ready for this to happen.
Tonight I think I will have a nice big meal... I will be on a liquid diet tomorrow.
Can't wait to be on the losing side!
Hugs,
Deanna
Hi Roni! My surgery is Friday too! Congrats to all of us and soon we will all be on the loosing side. I know it has been a long time coming for many of us but it's finally here. I have to do my pre-op stuff this afternoon and tomorrow I took the day off so I can finish up some things at home and pack my bag. What kinds of things have ya'll packed? Would appreciate any suggestions.
Loretta
WOW, so many of us on the 17th, that's great. I'll be thinking of each of you Friday.
Thanks Sherri, I didn't forget the chapstick. I bought a whole pack just for my hosp. bag after you mentioned it to another poster. Thanks for the tip, I am a chapstick nut as it is.
Good luck everyone, so glad to be sharing this with you all.

Hi everyone!
I was reading the posts and it just fascinated me when I noticed what states we are all in. From Maryland to California to Pennsylvania to Texas. We are all having our new lives to begin on the same day. How awesome is that?
The things I will be taking to the hospital are as follows:
Brush, bath sponge/puff, toothbrush/paste, pillow, carmex(lip balm), powder, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, comfortable clothes, underwear, robe, and slippers. I believe that's it.
I wanted to share with yall a verse that someone posted on my support page. She emailed it to me as I was looking for verses on healing. God is awesome and right on time.
2 Kings 20:2
I have heard thy prayer, I have seen the tears: behold I will heal thee.
I hope and pray this verse will help you be at ease. He has heard our prayers and seen our tears or we wouldn't have gotten this far. He also will heal thee. Our healing has started.....but we will definately be healed on Feb. 17th in the name of Jesus! Can I get an Amen? Amen!!!!!
God Bless yall!
Tamara
Hi Tamara!
Yep, I was equally amazed at how many of us will begin our new lives on Friday. And from all different parts of the US. I will be thinking of all of you guys as well. May God guide the hands of our surgeons and may we all have a speedy recovery. Thanks for the list of things to take to the hospital. I got my chapstick already and will be packing my back tonight. I just got back from doing my Pre-Op stuff and it finally hit me that the day is finally here. Thanks for the verse...May God calm our fears and yes AMEN!...We will definitelly be healed on Feb. 17th.
