2 weeks to go!

I can't believe how close this surgery is getting. Two weeks from today--Feb 28th! I go see my dr. tomorrow and get my list of pre-op tests. I have Kaiser Permanente so they are the ones that run the tests so I'll have a little more of their red tape to deal with! I'm getting a bit jittery as the date grows near but I know it's the best decision. I've had trouble getting someone to look after me when I first come home from the hospital, but I should manage OK. I'm just anxious to be on the other side of this. Diann

I was the same way, but you will do well, just keep a positive attitude. I was so calm, the day of surgery I drove myself to the hospital and my mom met me there cause she had to come from North Carolina. I am now 8 days post op and doing well, and so will you! Good luck! Love, Kennie

Hey Diann: We are scheduled for the same day. I am excited and nervous too. We will be fine as the excitement for me far outweighs the nerves. Good luck with your surgery Diann. You will be fine! I was so nervous, especially the beginning of this week. Now that I am 2 days away from surgery, I am totally calm and not nervous at all, just anxious to get it done! Hang in there, it will be here before you know it! Hugs, Deanna
