Best Valentines Day gift ever!! WLS Feb. 13

I will be spending this Valentines Day not eating a box of candy or out at a resturant but in the hospital, hopefully sipping water, etc. This will be the best Valentine's Day gift that I could have ever received the beginning of my new life. I am a little apprenshive about the changes to come, but know that God will guide me through it and knew I needed this to live. I am more worried about my 7yr old son who will be missing me terribly and will be upset when I talk to him on the phone. I hope I can reassure him that I am ok without him upsetting me. LOL My teenage daughter is only concerned about her Valentines day with her boyfriend LOL I don't think she will even notice I am gone. LOL I look so forward to coming back and sharing my experience with everyone. Keep me in your prayers. Well wishes to Feburary WLS pts. God bless and be with you all. Belinda

Hi Belinda, Guess what we are on the same boat! I go to the hospital at 0900 am , Monday Feb.13th!!! You just made me realize that WLS is the best Valentine's gift !! My husband said that it's part of my present this year! I'm also worried about the changes to come but I know the Lord will guide me. With the support of all you, husband and child I know that it will be fine. My biggest worry is how my 8yr old son will react to seeing me afterschool in a hospital bed. Unfortunately, I've decided to lie to him about why mommy's in the hospital. I believe deep in my heart that our decision to get WLS was a perfectly justified step in improving our lives.
