Help! I want to see if this is normal!

Hi guys I just had surgery on the 6th and came home on the 8th. Well since then I have had this awful feeling in between my breasts! It feels like something is stuck there and it wont go away! I am not vomiting or have a fever everything is going down fine! They dont want me to start on the protein until I feel that I am not gassy as much! Does anyone have any suggestions or does that sound familiar! Should I go to the emergency room? Please help! Any insight would help

Stephanie, I too had this feeling but not as soon post op as you. What I found was that if I took in too much liquid or later it was solids it felt like I'd swallowed something that was stuck & had no where to go. Very, very uncomfortable & nothing helped except that as time went on 15-20 minutes usually it would subside. I learned how far I could go without getting this sensation & now 8 weeks post op haven't had anything like it in about 3 weeks. If your discomfort however doesn't go away with a little time lapse, I would definitely call your surgeon first. Keep me informed. Good luck & God Bless, Jenn
