I am home!!

Hi guys sorry it took so ling to respond but I have been having alot of pain!! I had surgery on the 6th and came home on the morning of the 8th! I tried yesterday to walk and I could not do it for a long period of time! I was in so much pain! Thank God for the Roxicet!!!!! I had a real good experience with my surgery! I have heard horror stories but mine went well! The only thing I had problems with was trying to get an IV into my arms! I have very small and weak veins! Just the gas pain! Which today I feel a little different! Well congratulations to all of February people that went in before me! I hope everything went well for you! Talk to you soon

Welcome home! I hope your pain decreases as your healing continues. I also had surgery on the 6th and fortunately I was able to come home on the 7th. My pain has been managable without medication so far(Actually, the truth is the liquid pain med I received is so foul I have only been in enough pain to take it once! If the medicine had been more palatable I may have taken it more often). It only really hurts when I get up and down from a chair or the bed. I will be really glad to get the staples out next week. They are really poking into me when I bend and they have started to itch a lot too!!!!!

Good to hear you had a positive experience. Remember this is the beginning of a new life for you. Best of wishes, and may the blessings from God help with your healing. I am having the surgery on the 17th and wish I was much younger having it done. Good luck. Linda R.
