Anyone else on Feb. 15th?

I am having a revision to RNY on Feb. 15th. I had the old type of loop bypass 20 years ago. I am getting a bit nervous and will be glad once it is all over. My biggest fear is developing a leak as they are more common in revisions. Anyone else out there having their surgery on the 15th? Sue I. (Grand Rapids, MI)

Me, me, me! I am nervous about the little things. Missing my 3 year old, not being able to see her for a few days when we've never been apart. Making sure I have all the stuff I will ever need packed LOL. Wonderment over what it will FEEL like... how I will feel emotionally ... I've been preparing for this for so long, it's like I'm over-prepared and now I'm just knocking my head against the wall with waiting. xosm

I hear you on missing your three year old. I have a 12 year old and she'll be fine, but my 15 month old has always had me around. Heck, she's only been with a sitter once and that was for a short period. Good luck with your surgery...lol, and your packing!

I'm on the 15th too.....and it's my 14th anniversary! Never ever thought I'd been spending an anniversary like this..........LOL, next year....I think Hawaii in a new bathing suit!!
