ROLL CALL: How are you preparing for the big day?
Jessi,
I have been on my vitamins for a while and trying to cut back on my meals. I too have been doing some shopping since December for pre-op and post-op meals, toiletries, etc.
I have made some wonderful WLS friends and I have been communicating with one *****cently had the surgery that I will be having. We have had endless hours of conversation and it has calmed my nerves about the whole event.
She does telling me get to get that last eat in before you start that pre-op fluid diet.
Hi Jessi! Well, I'm cleaning like a fiend, trying to lose those dr. required 10 lbs, reassuring my daughter that I will be fine, trying to get everything set at work, and practically living on the OH site. I just can't seem to get enough! Like you, I am constantly looking for things that will help in any way. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you will have an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery. Hugs to you! -Pat W.
Hello Friends!
I have started my 2 week protien fast / liquid diet!! I cannot believe it is only 10 days till my big day!! I am cleaning my house like a mad woman lol, trying to keep busy, not eating!!!! I am starting to get my stuff ready for the hosp. and made final plans for a babysitter. Getting so excited then crying the next minute!!!
Hey Jessi,
I bought Protein powder, SF foods like applesauce, pudding, jello, etc. Things that I should be able to eat right after surgery. I have also seen a dietician and am on a low carb/high protein diet and will be on a liquid diet starting Feb. 11. I also have a personal trainer who has put me on an exercise regiment of Pilates, stretch band exercises, and walking. I have also been using the stationary bike. I pray that God watches over all of us as we begin this incredible journey!
