STATS?
You know it is interesting. I did the same thing Elisa did a few months back. I got excited about being 178 pounds for like two days, then went back up to 184. My weight has settled in between 184-186 on any given day, for the past few months actually. I'm fine with that. I remember where I was a year ago. We have come a long way. I sometimes envy people who are 140, etc. however, I hear on a regular basis that I look healthy, and that is what is important. People have commented that my face and body don't have the gaunt look that happens to some. I have decided to embrace where I am now. My goal originally was to lose 100 pounds which would have been 169-173 depending on when I started counting, lol, then it was to make it to 180, or a size 14, and I did. Well, I'm a size 12, and have been for awhile, with occasional size 10 stretch jeans, lol, which is more than I thought was possible. I can eat almost anything, as long as I don't eat too much or too fast. That is what I needed all along, better eating habits. The number on the scale, or size of the jeans is not what determines our success, our quality of life does. I went from 13 meds daily, including insulin, to no meds, and healthy normal labs. Amazing! I am so grateful to be here at this place, my goal without ever realizing it, was to be as close to a normal weight and health as I could, and I have achieved that...finally. Thanks for helping me get there with all of your support and insight.
