OMG! a Bodyshaper! I just have to share!

Even at goal, I still have huge body image problems. I know common sense tells me that being in a size 8 that I have to be on the small side. But all this extra tummy skin is bumming me out BIG TIME! On advice of a friend, I bought a bodyshaper by Hanes from Target for $18.99. It's basically a spandex type thing that goes from just below my breasts to my hips and holds all that extra skin in place. I put it on this morning and then got dressed. OMG! Was that me in the mirror? My tummy pouch was gone! I have a waist! My tummy is all nice and flat and I look AWESOME! You guys have got to try one of these! Go to Target and take it in the dressing room with you. Try it on under your clothes. One look in the mirror and you will pay it's weight in gold!

Aren't they great? I use this bodyshaper thing that I bought at JcPenny. It's a body suit basically with the bra and it clips down there but it's really comfortable & flexable. I use it almost everyday, especially when I don't want my lumps to be so noticeable. I love it. I paid $50 for it. The one you mentioned I don't think would work for me because I find that they roll down...hmm wonder if that still would happen now that I'm thinner? Well anyway they're great and I feel soo tiny in it. Everytime I wear it I notice people start commenting about how much thinner I look etc. I'm wearing it tomorrow... Hey our Surgivesary is tomorrow sista!! Doesn't it get you all teary eyed when you think about it. I think about how nervous I was and unsure if I would be so lucky as to not have complications. Gosh I can't believe it. Here I am...almost a size 14 and last year a size 26 (tight). Elisa

Happy surgiversary! I can't believe it's been a year already. I was in a 28 last year and fit into an 8 now. Talk about changes! My husband and I are going out for su****onight to celebrate. I wonder if I should go to JC Penny and check out the body shaper there. The one I have seems to work fine for me though. All my extra skin is in my tummy area. I carried all my extra weight there. I was like a big fat apple walking on sticks. My hips have really slimmed down nicely. The suit I bought would probably role down if I had got a smaller size. The chart said I should get a medium but I actually got a large. I didn't want it to tighten stuff and smother me. I just wanted something to smooth me out. I was so tired of the HUGE wads of skin hanging over the edges of my pants. I would stuff it all in and within minutes (the first time I bent) it would all be hanging out again.
