I'm Home...

I have been sick since I had my internal hernia surgery. I had a second surgery on Monday night. The dr found another hernia near the first site of the hernia. He removed several adhisons, revised my RNY and repaird an intestional hernia. I'm so exhausted. I am going to take it easy and just lay on the couch. I still have many issues with the way I was treated,but thankfully the doc who just did these last 2 surgeries is really on the ball. I'll post again this week. Jennifer There is a chance I might need to have an edoscopy incase i continue to have naseaua and vomiting.

Thanks for the well wishes. I anticpate this is going to be a longer recovery then I'm used to. I will keep you updated. Jen

HANG in there. Every day will be better. You will be tired for a while sweetie but let your poor body recover. We love you!

Wow, I am glad they were able to find something and I hope this fixes everything for you. What did he do to revise your RNY?

I don't recall everything since it seemed like everything was moving 100 miles per hour after surgery and I wasn't able to keep up. There were 4 things mentioned, they were adhesions, revision of current hernia, inestional hernia, and revision at the rny connector. The J-something that's about 100 letters long. I got back tomorrow to get these ugly staples removed. I hope to find out more then. I plan on getting my records from the hospital to keep complete records for my files, just in case. I am curious to see how long I'll be out of work this time. I am sad I had to stop working on my schooling and just put everything aside to recovery. I'm semi bored this morning. The weekends are the worse because I know how bored I am and then the family is bored with me. I'll be alright. JT Stay warm during this cool snap!
