Wow Moment!

Hey guys! I had a major WOW moment...(at least I thought so ) Anyway, I bought 2 pairs of Size 12 jeans from ebay thinking I would put them in the closet for a little while till I fit in them. Well I received them yesterday and tried them on just to see and lo and behold...THEY FIT!!!! And just the way I like them. I have NEVER been a size 12 ever...probably since grade school. I was ecstatic and thought I would share this with ya'll. Loretta

Congratulations!!! Size 12?!! I don't think I was ever a size 12. I think I just skipped over the 12s and went straight to 18s. hee hee... Thank goodness for WOW moments and eBay.

LOL! Thanks Sara...I, too, probably skipped right over the Size 12's and jumped straight into plus sizes. I still go to the plus size section when I go shopping. It's still hard for me to see myself as no longer a "plus size" woman. Thanks again!

I do that too! Isn't it funny that we still go to the plus size section at the store. Again, it's the fat girl brain thing. I keep thinking there is no way I can fit into regular clothes. People at my support group say it takes about a year to stop going to the plus size section. Well, we're almost a year out so hopefully we can stop going. I keep thinking that people are looking at me strange "like you don't belong here fatty" when I go into the smaller sections. My husband says it's all in my head and I know he's right. Maybe I need to see a therapist or something. (sigh)

(HUGS!!!!!!) YA GO GIRL! Honey we still have 6 months to go with the easy (sorta) weight loss so you're gonna get even smaller! I bought my first pair of size 8 pants at the GAP on Sunday. I NEVER thought I would(or wanted to) see single digit pants. I even had to get a size small gym pants. ME? In a small? No friggin way! My fat girl brain still thinks of me as large.

Size 8 huh? WOW! I hope I can get there too. Congrats on that great milestone! I know what you mean...I never thought I would be able to go shopping at any store and find something that actually fit me. It's friggin awesome! Thanks again!

Isnt it great to buy sizes smaller than you think you need??? Way to go!!! I got some Levis in a size 6 from Santa, and some yoga workout pants in a size small!!!! I still keep telling myself they MUST be sized wrong!!! DH is like..... you have enough size 6s and smalls now, that Im sure they cant ALL be sized wrong!!! We RAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!
