Not Going So Great....
I know I need to call the dr's. I will call tomorrow when I wake up.
As you remember, I'm recovering from internal hernia surgery. Well, over the weekend I've been getting tightness in my chest again and my throat feels like there's little razors inside it. Its a bit worse after I eat. I had some discomfort in my sides but I attribute that to my stitches.
I'm a bit discouraged because this hernia creeped up on my suddenly and changed my life quickly. I have a rather busy time coming up again. I begin my college courses again once I pass my standardized test.
How come I cannot put this stomach thing on hold. I'm afriad i'm going to have to have a scan done. Ugh. Atlteast I still have awsomely expensive health insurance.
I will let you guys know what's up tomorrow.
Ok, pet peeve time. I never call th dr's because they act like the caller is stupid.
The nurse asked if I used some sore throat spray.
I don't have a sre throat. I feel like there's razors in my throat after I swallow.
I also have pressure in m chest when i eat. I'm waiting for a call back.
This is why I don't bother to call them when something isn't right.
Will post again later.

THe dr never returned my call. Don't know what went on at office to cause this.
I waited until 5:30. I called the after hours ## and didn't get the greatest response.
They basically blew me off and told me it wasn't related to my recent hernia issue.
Ok, fine. They acted like I had a sore throat. I'm all for not bothering, but when I get treated like this, it makes me feel like I did something wrong. I cannot help but take it personal. I was told to call back tomorrow when the office was/is open.
So, in the event this continues I'll call my PCP and just go a few minutes from home instead of almost 90 minutes each way. I feel like it's reflux or something related to that. My throat is inflammed and hurts, it's not an ENT issue
