Hey everyone, Am I just weird or is anyone else having problems being tired. First off I just had all my blood work done and it is all great. But every afternoon, I feel like laying down and taking a nap. I feel rundown and blah. I have alot going on and I'm panicked about having my knee replaced in March. I already had one done a few years ago, and it went badly. Plus I can not tolerate pain meds since the bypass, so I am freaking out over how we will control the pain. I'm not sure if this and every thing else is what is wearing me down, but I could really use some input! Cathy

Hi Cathy, so sorry you aren't feeling too good. I remember feeling really tired early on, I took naps everyday. Now I don't even take naps and I can be up from 6:30am to 10:30pm. I really don't know what it could be if your lab work was all fine. Do you take b-1? I think it's suppose to spark energy & according to my surgeon's nurse practioner Thiamin is the most important vitamin. I hope you find out what it is and feel better soon. Elisa

Cathy I'm sorry that your feeling run down all the time, there are a lot of reasons a person can feel run down...that are not related to WLS. If your blood work and vitamins are good, you might want your doctor to check for other things like "epstine barr". R u feeling depressed? One sign of depression is feeling run down, there is something called Seasonal depression syndrom ...where people feel more run down in the winter because they are exposed to less natural sun light. Dealing with stress in general has a very hard physcial impact on your body, same with dealing with chronic pain. Again i hope you feel better. Scott
