OT - I got a tattoo!

My daughter took me to her tattoo artist today and bought me a tattoo. This is my first one. My husband is still in shock! How many of you guys have tattoos?

Me......I do , I do...........plus because I have the energy of a teenager again I got my nose pierced!! Just a little stud....but I wanted to do something that was way out in left field for me. Isn't it funny how many things we get when we feel good about ourselves......tattoos.......nose rings........boyfriends!! lol Where did you get it and what did you get? Kristin

I got a black cat sitting in a star on my ankle. I just uploaded a picture into my albumn.

Congrats Terri and it's very pretty. There's a pic of my tat on my profile, I got it a long time ago ... before hubby and baby. I designed it myself and as simple as it is, I think it's the most pretty thing. I have another one in the works, just gotta find a place out here I can trust. Careful, they're addicting! xosm

I had tatoos prior to surgery....1 around my belly button that now looks as if my belly button is swallowing it whole lol, 1 on my hip and one on my lower back....already had piercings to but we wont discuse where those are lmao. J

Nice tattoo Terri!! I have 3 and just got my nose re-pierced... Had to take it out years ago because my husband's grandmother didn't approve. Now I don't care if she approves or not! I'm up to get another tat but I've told myself that I have to lose another 20 pounds before I do it. That's incentive enough for me... Hopefully by my 1 year surgiversery 3 months from today. We'll see...

My best friend and I had the surgery done on Feb. 6, 2006. We had it done the same day, same doctor, same hospital room. When we lost 100 pounds (July) we went and got a tatoo (of course same one!!!!) It is a butterfly (new beginning) with 2 flowers (one for each of us) to remind us of our huge accomplishment and to remind us that we will never go back to way we were before. Lori
