I was told that because I'm weight training and building muscle, that I can't use BMI to determine if I'm normal weight or not. A body builder is considered obese based on BMI because per square inch, muscles weighs more than fat. A better measurement for me would be body fat percentage. I had my body fat percentage calculated. An average American female has a body fat percentage of 32%. "Normal" and acceptable range is 24-31%. My body fat is 29%. WOOHOO! I also have a new goal weight based on lean body mass. My goal weight is 158 lbs. 13 lbs to go! WOOHOO!

Wow!!! I'm such a whimp. I'm just now starting to take advantage of the "free" 3 month gym membership, that came with my surgery. You do youself proud. Be happy with yourself. You've done it, and you're working your tool. Gosh
