I dont think I am losing weight anymore. I cant figure out what is wrong. I am exercising and still watching what I eat. I dont think I have lost anything for about a month. I just keep bouncing the same two or three pds back and forth. Has anyone else stopped losing.

we are just at that 6 month stall.. You are like me. I've been the same weight for the past month. Not really worried yet. I'll give it some time.

I gotcha beat by a month, I was at a stall for two months About once a week I'd have a melt down, but I still feel better, I know I'm not blowing it, and I know my body has been through a LOT. We are ok, after this stall we should see some weight drop, just hang in there, keep doing a good job, make sure to get in your protein, water vitamins and exercize and you'll see a loss soon

I do the same thing EVERY month for the last few months. I play with the same 2-3 pounds for 2-3 weeks, then BAMM, I loose 5 lbs. My surgeon says that's normal and not to worry.

Don't worry if you do hit a stall every now and then. So far I've been very fortunate and my stalls have only been for one week here and there. We have what four of us that started our journeys at approximately the same time with each of us having different amounts to lose. Sometimes that will make a difference in when and how often we may hit these stalls. I truly expected a stall myself since I've closed my pool for the winter and don't have access to a gym yet, but I'm still managing to lose 2-3 lbs each week and hope to join my gym on the 18th. Once I do that I think it will kick up my weight loss again back to an occasional 5 lbs weight loss for a week every now and then. I don't expect that every week or even one week out of the month. Just remember, if you stick to the basics the weight will continue to come off, maybe not as fast, but it will continue. I know we all are human and go off track on occasion, yes we all do even if it's just a bite or two of something we do it. The important thing is that we are on track 90% of the time and that alone will allow the weight loss to continue. I look forward to hearing about all of you overcoming the stalls you have experienced and can only hope you'll be there for me when I hit one where I don't lose anything in a week. I am just happy to be able to get where I am now. I can't remember being able to do as much as I do now and not getting winded any longer. To me even if I don't lose another pound I am successful in becoming a more healthy person. Yes I'd love to be able to say I'm no longer obese and that can happen once I hit approximately 164. That means I only have another 72 lbs to go where I'll be just "overweight". If I ever hit 164 or below it may take additional surgery (lose skin will probably be in the neighborhood of 10-20 lbs). I am just now starting to see this lose skin yes it took losing 123 lbs before I actually can see where I may have problems. I've always been a "solid" person, very muscular and big boned even though I'm only 5'2". I think my surgeons goal of 125 is unobtainable and unrealistic for me, but I will continue to shoot for it or as close to it as I can. Sorry I got off track here. Bottom line, just stay on track and the weight loss will pick up. I've heard where many have hit stalls at the 6 month mark and continue to lose additional amounts of weight during the next 6 months. Keep up the good work. Robin

I am going through the same thing. Although i am only 35 pounds from my goal so i figure maybe i will stay at this weight ...who knows but i have lost 93 pounds and i am exstremely Happy about that. would i love to hit the big loss of 100 pounds yea but its really a number for me anyway. i wear small sizes and i feel good try not to focus on the numbers....although I KNOW its easier said than done....i still do it even when i say i wont. BUT hang in there. we are all goign through it one way or another we all hit different parts of this journey at differant times. J 271/178/145

Hi everyone, i don't post much but I tend to lurk. I had my surgery Jan.31. But I consider myself a feb. rebirth. I to have stopped loosing weight. For the past 2 1/2 months I've been playing with the same 2 or 3 pounds. I stopped drinking the water so I think I will start drinking again and see if that helps. You all are doing so good tho. Iv'e lost 78 pounds and have 20 more to go. Ellie
