I am still experiencing bouts of nausea. Am I the only one experiencing these bouts of nausea? I figured this would be gone after a few months but I am still experiencing bouts of nausea. This is so frustrating as I can find no rhyme or reasoning to it. I get plenty of fluids so I would not think it would be from dehydration. Sometimes I notice high fat foods cause nausea but I havent ate nothing today but my protein shake.

Well i find certain foods do it to me. OJ for example i cant drink it period and yes i agree high fat foods or fired foods...(i know lol) BUT i dont know what time you posted this but is all you had a protien drink??? You should really eat i mean im thinking maybe i am wrong if someone can correct me but we should really be trying to get our protien in food sources unless we cant get enough in. maybe no food in your tummy made you sick?? who knows but NO your not the only one it happens to me prolly once or twice a week. Most of the time it is cause i ate something to fast ( i am a horrible fast eater..Still the fat girl ) I think we are all on a learning curve. Head up camper we are all in this together J

I can't find a protein powder that doesn't make me nauseas(sp) Certain things make me queasy too, plain water will do it. I can love something yesterday and it'll make me quesy today.

I cant drink protein shakes now. My doc suggested I dont and it isnt a problem for me to follow his suggestion! They all make me wanna gag and I get dizzy and yucky feeling. I will eat a protein bar in the morning instead. It sounds to me that what you are describing is a dumping reaction. If I have something that doesnt agree with me, I get really hot flashy and light headed and woozy nausea feeling until a few minutes pass and the feeling slowly subsides. I sometimes even have to lay down or put my head between my knees.

I still feel queasy if I eat solid food first thing in the morning. So, I have an EAS coffee house protein drink instead. Also, milk makes me feel ill if I drink more than an ounce or two. Have you talked to your surgeon?
