6-Month Bloodwork

I have a question: What specifically do I need to have my doctor check for when I get my 6 month bloodwork taken? I've seen it before on different messageboards, but I can't think of what to ask for. I'm going tonight to see him for an unrelated issue and I'd like to see if he can schedule some 6 month bloodwork. Should it be things like cholesterol, B-12, I have no idea what else? Any help would be appreciated. Jen Halliday

Hi, My surgeons office gave me a list of what they would be screening for. I couldn't tell what it all was but I know some of it was B12, CBC-complete blood count, Iron, and I'm not sure what else. My Iron was low though and now I have to take an Iron supplement. Someone else may know but i guess all surgeons are different. Take care.

My surgeon checks a CBC, Chem panel, total lipid panel, cholesterol, and total vitamin panel (A, B6, B12, C, D, E, Iron, Biotin,....)
