O.k. here it is, I am almost 7 months out and have lost 91 pounds total...I Started at 301 pounds and I'm now at 210 pounds. I feel like I haven't lost as much as I should have by now. You all seem to have lost so much more. Am I just panicking or is there something else I can be doing. I exercise 4 days a week faithfully and I eat what I am supposed to( most of the time) meaning my water and protein. I feel better physically, I guess thats the most important thing. A few words of encouragement would be much appreciated...Thanks to you all in advance.

I think you're doing great! You're over 10 pounds a month. When was the last time you've lost that much? Keep plugging away. You'll get there!!

Jennifer, you are doing great! I think you are up there with all the faster losers. I started at 315 and I'm at 232. So, I've only lost 83 pounds and I'm thrilled. Hey you are only 9 pounds away from making the century club. Hang in there I bet you'll hit century by the end of this month. Keep up the great work 91 pounds is fantastic , Congrats! Elisa

Not sure who you're comparing yourself to but you've lost more than me. I'm just about 6 1/2 months post op and my total loss is 78 pounds. I think the key is not to compare yourself to others because regardless of how many months you and another post oper are, your bodies are completely different. Best of luck but it sounds like you are doing just fine. Keep up the good work. Roni

Jenn, Im almost 7 months out and i have only lost 87 pounds. YOUR DOING GREAT!!! I think at this point we all slow down and we have to jut be patient. I can not speak for everyone but I know it can be frustrating when we lost so much at first but keep doing what you are doing and you will see in the next 5 months to the year mark you will notice alot more. i have many frined who are many years out and they say just keep doing what your doing it jus comes off slower now. My surgery date was the day before yours....I have also lost 91 pounds....started at 306 and weigh 215. I am thrilled, but like you I feel like I haven't lost as much as I should. Last month I gained and lost the same 3 pounds all month long. But I am hanging in there and feel so wonderful with so much energy, that I can't be unhappy. Congratulations to you.....you are doing great!!!!

I am SO, SO glad you posted this because I just had a melt down yesterday (my poor husband) and i was wigging out, having all these failure thoughts I had WLS on 2/7/06, started at 310, an now 223. Sounds great, a total of 87 lbs, but I was at that a month ago, and thought this was it for me. I am relieved to know I'm not the only one who felt this way at this stage.
