First camping trip since surgery....What do I eat??
So, I'm going somewhere for a week to camp, and I'm having some issues with what to bring and what will last. I'm thinking I'll bring some portioned out containers with buffalo meat (it's really super soft!), some reduced fat cheese sticks, maybe even some soy crisps, but then I just blank. Oh and some South Beach Diet Meal Replacement bars. They have a lot of calories, but I'll be working it off with the amount of walking I'll be doing. I should probably mention that we'll be camping at Six Flags. So, breakfast, lunch or dinner suggestions? Plus any healthy snacking tips for during the day as I walk around wouold be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, my OH friends!

Hi Jen
I am a camper! I have been to a few camping trips since my surgery! I have eggs in the morning or a yogurt. then for lunch I bring lunch meat and cheese to and some oat bran pita bread. Everything you suggested is great and that is what I usually bring for snacks! I would try to bring some chicken that they can put on the grill but tell them not to make the chicken to charred up because i have a problem with chicken off the grill for some reason!! It is really hard going down!! I just realized your going to Six Flags so just look for salads with chicken or lunch meat!! I know you will do fine!!! Have a great time! The more you think about the more stress you will put on your pouch just roll with the punches
