Sharing a funny & pics

Ok I gotta share this because I felt so dumb and it was funny. I went shopping with some friends at walmart (only place open 24hrs in my town) and we were browsing through the clothes. They have some cute tops...and I picked up one that looked like a camisole but it had short sleeves and the front closed with a tie. The hanger said size 16 and looking at it I really didn't stop and think it looked bigger than that so my friend says "try it on to see what it looks like on you" and so I put the blouse on. To my surprise the blouse fit way too big! I was like "whoa! I"m swimming in this size 16 and look at all the room I have left in it". I actually showed it off to my friends...well I took the blouse off and looked at the tag and saw it was a size 26/28 hehe...no wonder it fit too big! I just couldn't stop laughing at myself because I really thought that I fit into a size 16 already, when I knew very well I'm just starting to fit into size 22's well maybe smaller for tops but still. I felt so silly my friends laughed with me but not in a bad way. Anyhoot! I have pics in my profile of my hair loss. Take a look and tell me how bad you think it is from a scale of 1(not bad) to 5 (5 being really bad). I hope it starts growing back soon. Elisa

I'm not good with scales numbers. So, that being said, your hair loss isn't that bad. You should see my mom's hair .... or what used to be her hair. She's lost about 80%. She looks like a cancer survivor. Is your hair still falling out. Mine finally stopped. I guess I was lucky. Nobody but me can even tell I had a hair loss. Can you see the baby hairs growing back yet? I have a TON of 1/2" long hairs all over.

Well, I guess it's not that bad but yes, my hair is still falling out. I see a few baby hairs but not much. I can't wait till this phase is over. Elisa

I think your hair looks thin cause you're pointing it out in the pic, but I bet from the front view no one would notice it. I wrapped my towel around myself last night. It's a bath sheet, actually, but I can't remember the last time it wrapped around enough for me to come out of the bathroom that way and not risk flashing my FIL. xosm

That's what my hair looks like wet. The side messed-up-view is just to show how thin it is now. The baldness is less noticeable when my hair is dry. Hey, wow that's neat that you got to wrap a towel around you. I still have yet to be able to do that. WTG GG! Elisa

hi elisa, i think the pics where your hair is parted nicely looks just fine. i can see why your so upset, i am going through it too. but you don't wear your hair all messy (i don't think Haha) that it shows all the missing spots like in the pics, so i think your ok! my heart pounds every time i shower and comb my hair when i see all the clumps coming out. no one has mentioned anything to me about it, so i am hoping its not soooo noticable. it'll grow back... patrice

Hi Patrice, yeah you're right I don't wear my hair all messy cause otherwise it would be noticeable. I know what you mean my heart also pounds when I have to wash & comb my hair. My brother noticed it a few weeks ago and told me "hey, look you have a bald spot" and I just said "I know"... hehe I wasn't too happy that he pointed it out. Yep, it'll grow back...funny how the hair I have is growing out but yet it still falls out. Elisa

I'd say a 1.5. OMG, I'm losing my hair, too, and I want to just throw in the towel!! *throws hands up in drama queen fashion* *delicately, like a flower, falls on the chair in dramatic way* But seriously, your hair loss isn't too bad. You'd notice it more than we would because you're the one pulling it outta your brush and the shower drain, am I right? God be with you, Elisa!! *hugs* It'll get better, I know it will. Hi Elisa Your hairloss is about a 3 but alot of those pictures are with your hair wet! Just think it will all grow back!! I am glad to hear that you are doing good!! Stephanie
