OT: Digital Scrapbooking

Hi Everyone!! Just wanted to share that I've found something to keep me busy for the summer. I know...I'd rather be out and traveling but I can't, so the next best thing is doing something at home & for FREE! I joined an online course at iVillage last night on digital scrapbooking. It is so much fun!! I think I've found my new addiction...of course 2nd...because my 1st will always be my Feb. & Cali. OH Boards . So anyway, I just created 2 pages...let me know what you think. Don't worry if you don't think they're good...these are just my first and practice makes perfect right? Yes, GG and while I work on those pages I have my nice, cool, & refreshing bottle of flavored water to drink. Ohhh! I love creative things! The pages you did look great! I bet you'll love scrapbooking. I'm into quilting myself. I loooooooove to sew. OMG Terri those are beautiful!! I love the first one but all of them are such beauties. You have an awesome talent. Do you sell them? Thanks for sharing. I also do other stuff...for example last christmas I made all my christmas ornaments. They were star shapes with different colors. I might post some pics later to show you. They are so pretty ! I have a quilt top that I made 2 summers ago that is still begging to be finished. Maybe get that done this summer ! Thanks for sharing !!

That looks so cool! Is it kind of like photobucket or picturetrail but with extras? I'm not a creative/crafty person but I'm starting a WLS scrap book so I'll see how that goes. But I like your digital scrap book. Sylvia

Yeah, sorta like the things you can do with photobucket & picturetrail but personalized and original. I'm still working on embellishments and all that good stuff. I hope to become really good by the end of the summer. My advice is just give it a try (at being creative) and don't be afraid of doing something wrong...because usually mistakes end up being good ones! Thanks for taking a peak. Elisa

Hi Elisa, You're so creative! I still haven't figured out how to spruce up my profile, so I guess scrapbooking and photo bucketing won't be happening for me. I like looking at everybody else's stuff though! Rebecca

Thanks Rebecca! I don't know when they are going to change the OH format-supposedly once they do there will be templates you can choose from to spruce up your profile.
