Did I read on the main board that your stricture is back? Gosh and golly that sucks. I think if you really want to set a size goal, you should really focus on what thing[s] you can actually change to get to that goal. OK, one, you had WLS, you can't control that part now, two, due to the WLS you are going to continue to lose, so that pretty much is a given at this point, THREE you're three months out may likely be getting the hormones and emotional hunger and even some real hunger and liking of food back -again - something that is part of the WLS package deal. Those things, your stricture coming back, things like that you do not, let me repeat, DO NOT NOW have control over.
Soooo, focus on something positive that you think you'd like to or need to change that you CAN control and that WILL help you attain your goal. Can you smile more, make me laugh more often, tell funnier jokes ... wait, this is about you feeling good, right, sorry, I forgot;)
Do you need to drink more water? More protein shakes? Eat more protein [if that's possible, I'm not sure]. Do you need to move to lose more? Do you need to pick yourself up from a crappy couple of days and get back on the goal wagon? Uh, yes@
Pick something you can control, that you need to pay attention to, and GET IT IN YOUR TIGHT GRIP and embrace it with all your passion and you will have made a SUPERB step in the direction of your ultimate goal.
Do it Gosh, or Gosh darn it, You CAN DO THIS. 28 days and a new habit is born. Lets do it together.
Pick something and run with it. xosm
Thanks for being nice to me. The value of nice is so generally underated that most people don't treasure it, as I do.
Yep, the strickture's back, whoopeeeeeee.
I feel like I'm still stuck in the first month post-op, with what I can "eat". I should wear a badge on my shirt "laudible liquid lady" or LLL. I could just go around, sticking my tounge out going LLLLLLLLL, but then the nice people with the white coats will take me to their happy place.
I do need to work on my suplements. I'm always remembering my multi's, but with the whole calcium/ no iron, iron/ no calcium, thing, sometimes I'll remember one in the day and not the other. Why can't we have to supplement with fried chicken?
28 days to a new habit, hmmmmm.
I'd like to further perfect annoying my husband.......
Since bad things happen in 3's, and I'm now covered, I'd like to perfect winning the lotto.....
I'm not good with jokes, but I do try my best to make people smile through the struggle. I hope it works.

LLL
LMAO
cause my first thought was La Lache League [http://www.lalecheleague.org/] ... which I'm gonna throw out a guess isn't quite the LIQUID you mean!
When will they dilate the stricture again? Soon, I hope.
You always make me smile, Gosh! xosm
Hey Gigi,
I'm glad I make you smile. (husband love my milk when I was breast feeding, but mabey tmi)
I dunno when. I have an apt with GI doc on the 20th. It was supposed to be the post dialation check up. It'll turn into the gonna go back for dialation-up. This time's not as bad as before, yet, but is progressively getting there.
To tell you the truth, to not be as sick and tired all the time, I'd be willing to be the LLL.
Gosh
How much protein is in breast milk? Mabey I should go buy a can of formula.

When I was breastfeeding it weirded my hubby out [and he LOVES boobs], which was sad for me cause I had no boob action for a year [now that's probably TMI!].
I had to pump for about a month cause DD was a preemie, if I had any frozen milk I'd send it your way;) I hear it tastes like melon? LOL I'm serious, that's what I heard!
Formula smells worse than the protein shakes, just the thought of it makes me gag.
It seems like a long time to go before you get dilated, can you tolerate mushy stuff at all?
xosm
Off and on. Behind the pouch and on the side of the pouch is a general achiness. Mashed potatoes go down fine, but only, mabey, 2 tablespoon fulls, then the ache gets really bad. I can keep down things that disolve in water. Protein cereal, Power crunch bars, etc. A few real foods, mashed beans and/or soup, one slice of bacon, cream cheese or brie, cottage cheese. I do a lot of broth and protein shakes. My chewable vitamins and supplements. I tried some egg salad tonight, ugh. I had it at 1930 and it still hurts. I was doing okay with salad shrimp, but no longer. I really was enjoying having them with some coctail sauce.
I'm starting to get tired of all the things I can't have, even though they're a part of the plan. The end result will be a healthier me, but I'd also like to be happy, and not feel like I have NO food choices (comparitively speaking).
Whine/rant for the night,
Gosh
PS The animal hospital sent a nice card for Stella.
I am MOVING!! I started back on my exercise tapes and I have walked a mile each day. I am trying each day to go a little farther, so that I can get to 2 miles.
I am also doing some strength building with weights.... gotta keep those bones strong.
I have a little pain in my achilles tendon this morning, so I have to be careful not to reinjure it. I do some stretching before I walk, I'm hoping that keeps the pain at bay!

Monday: I did the Gazelle for 30 minutes at a good pace, a little less than 3 MPH for a total of about 1.7 miles. I crapped out at around 6:30 though, felt like a truck hit me and fell asleep watching TV with the family. One day down, goal is 3x a week, 2x left, 5 days to do it.
