Losing hair...but 70 pounds lighter!
Okay, so I just recently discovered that I'm losing my hair. Yes, it has begun. *sigh* However, I went to my surgeon's office and weighed myself today. I felt kinda bad because I usually weigh on Thursdays or every other Thursday, but I was driving by and I thought, "What the heck. I'll just go in and weigh!" I have lost 70 pounds since my surgery, just a little over 3 months ago! And 81 pounds overall. Omigosh! How much is that? Can anyone put that in perspective for me? So, the hairloss thing is completely overshadowed by the weight loss thing. I actually have decided to just buckle my seatbelt and cruise because what else can I do about hairloss? Freak out about it? What good would that do? Not much. So, I choose to focus my energy elsewhere: My 70 pound weight loss.
Weird, huh? I just never thought that this kind of weight loss was possible for me, especially in those first few weeks after surgery. *contented sigh*
Have a great day, ladies and gents!

Congrats! I'm a newbie to this board but I'm enjoying reading the posts. I'm a little over 3 mos. post op and down about 67lbs. I wouldn't trade the weight loss for the hair loss but it'd be nice if I didn't have to choose. *sigh* Just keep on plugging away. Before you know it, you'll be thin and your hair won't
