Losing hair...but 70 pounds lighter!

Okay, so I just recently discovered that I'm losing my hair. Yes, it has begun. *sigh* However, I went to my surgeon's office and weighed myself today. I felt kinda bad because I usually weigh on Thursdays or every other Thursday, but I was driving by and I thought, "What the heck. I'll just go in and weigh!" I have lost 70 pounds since my surgery, just a little over 3 months ago! And 81 pounds overall. Omigosh! How much is that? Can anyone put that in perspective for me? So, the hairloss thing is completely overshadowed by the weight loss thing. I actually have decided to just buckle my seatbelt and cruise because what else can I do about hairloss? Freak out about it? What good would that do? Not much. So, I choose to focus my energy elsewhere: My 70 pound weight loss. Weird, huh? I just never thought that this kind of weight loss was possible for me, especially in those first few weeks after surgery. *contented sigh* Have a great day, ladies and gents! Jen Halliday

70 lbs is wonderful Gosh ...... sorry about the hair. I seem to loose more hair by pulling it out, dealing with my husband.

Counting the 18 lbs I lost prior to surgery, I've lost 78 lbs. I've only got 9 more until onderland. I can't wait!

Right there with you Jen.... hair loss. My hair is EVERYWHERE, my three year old was playing with my hair and took out several (more than 10) strands. I'm just taking my vitamins, drinking my protein and hoping I dont need to get a wig anytime soon.
